Moose Pass Summer Solstice Festival
It was one of those Saturdays; the sun arose at 3 and never really went down the night before. We had friends I town that used to live here but now live in the third largest state in the union if you were to cut Alaska in half, Texas. I had volunteered my time between 2 and 5pm to serve beer and keep the kegs cold. That was my job and all I saw were friendly faces and a great group of folks.
The MPSSF had at least three bands; a favorite of mine, Cains Head, named after a point in Resurrection Bay. The other two bands, well, I was working. I did enjoy the crowd though. Here’ are some shots of Alaskans doing what they do.  Early CrowdThe beginning
